Match report Batting first, Wayne Read smashed the Harold Wood bowlers around the park in scoring a magnificent 158 that included 22 fours and 5 sixes. And it was a good job that he did because 5 of our batsmen scored 'ducks' !

Our total of 234 (off of 35 overs) proved a little too much for Harold Wood as they were dismissed for 162 of which Pickett struck a superb 95 not out. And our victory by 72 runs was a satisfying way to finish the 1997 season.
