Match report In this Smallcombe Sports League match, Martin Dix took 4 for 40 to enable us to dismiss Roding Valley for a modest 126.

In our run-chase after tea, Richard Wakely smashed 45 to put us in command at 109 for 5, but we lost a couple of quick wickets and were precariously perched on 121 for 9. Then with our last pair at the crease, Gary Plane casually finished proceedings by striking a handsome six to see us home to victory by 1 wicket. Fantastic.
