Matthew Lewis Snr smashed 4 sixes in his 63 to enable us to reach 179 for 9 after our allotted 45 overs in this Smallcombe Sports League match.

After tea, Britannic Lodge were in the driving seat when perched on 92 for 1, but then some devastating bowling saw us take 9 wickets for just 26 runs and we won by 61 runs. Just how quickly this game of cricket can change!

But it was Matthew Lewis's day. He took 6 for 5 from just 6 overs (all of his victims were clean-bowled) including a hat trick in the process. A fantastic victory for us and a quite memorable day for ML - the first Belhus player to score a fifty, take a '5for' and a hat trick in the same match. Excellent.
