Match report Richard Waters top-scored for our 3rd XI and with support from skipper Stewart Farr (38*) and Tom Thompson (32) we were able to post a modestly respectable total of 176 for 9 declared. Matthew Cole bowled well for Chelmsford in taking 5 for 50.

In the run-chase after tea, the game ebbed and flowed with Billy Maidment capturing 3 wickets but Chelmsford reached the required target with just 2 overs to spare to secure a 3 wickets win.

A thoroughly enjoyable game of cricket played in excellent spirit.
