Match report Batting first in this Shepherd Neame Essex League match, Buckhurst Hill racked up a competitive total of 240 for 5, as Ashley Brand top-scored with 80 not out.

In the run-chase,our early order batsmen batted well as Richard Waters stroked a half-century, but we failed to maintain the momentum and a 'Belhus Collapse' saw us skittled out for 176 and to lose by 64 runs.

A gloriously still, sunny summers day was crowned by fine hospitality and an excellent tea from our hosts.
