Match report Batting first, our 3rd XI posted a competitive total of 217 thanks to a fine 76 from Aziz Khalil, and valuable contributions of 37 from Ben Garwood and 32 from Lee Webber. Kevin page was the pick of the Horndon-on-the-Hill bowlers with 3 for 63.

After tea, we soon captured some early wickets and had Horndon on the rack. But we let the game slip away from us as superb batting displays from Jason Pike (93 not out) and Laurence Petts (78 not out) saw Horndon home to a comfortable 5 wickets win.
