Match report After heavy rain throughout the night and being told that the covers were on all night and reminded of this at the ground we were mistaken. The pitch was green, damp and made the toss of the coin important. Belhus lost the toss and were asked to bat, but the skipper and suhail made a great start with an opening partnership of 52. The belhus middle order had a mini collapse but steady work from mark sansom who ended up with 92 and contributions from jim banner, Azaz Khalil and the lower order got the Belhus total to 238.

Harlow had their last player turn up in the last over of the first innings and after many phone calls this did not affect.

From the start belhus were getting crucial wickets and had the top order sent back to the pavilion with the score at 44 for 4. The wickets kept tumbling and belhus bowled Harlow out for 79. Wickets from Imran were vital up front and Jim Banner cleaned-up at the end.
