Chelmsford v Belhus Cricket Club Midweek 1st XI on Mon 27 May 1985 at 2pm
Match was Drawn
Match report
Batting first at Chelmer Park, Chelmsford were in trouble at 15 for 3 but a 112-runs 4th wicket partnership between Bailey and Lincoln enabled them to take their team's total to 164 from 47 overs.
After tea, our batsmen never threatened the required target, but we held on gamely for an honourable draw as Rob Waters top-scored with 21.
