Match report Horndon-on-the-Hill batted well to post a total of 152 for 2 in this Thurrock & District Knock Out Cup match at Belhus Park.

In reply, our batsmen panicked and no less than 5 of them were run out (nearly equalling the club record of 6 run outs set in 1960). So we were dismissed for 78 and went off to the pub to drown our sorrows after such a dismal performance. But all credit to Horndon-on-the-Hill.
