Match report Clacton posted a respectable total of 225 in this all-day match at Vista Road after Jagdhar stroked 92. John Forrest was our lead wicket-taker with 4 for 80 from 21 overs.

In our run-chase, we lost wickets regularly and we never really got in the hunt. But an unbroken last wicket partnership of 41 between Robert Waters (25*) and Dick Bignell (34*) gave a degree of respectability to our score and we held out gamely for an honourable draw.
