Optimists (Devon) v Belhus Cricket Club Senior Tour on Fri 07 Sep 1984 at 2pm
Belhus Cricket Club Lost by 82 Runs
Match report
Optimists 210-4 (Ellison 129)
Belhus Tour XI 128-9 (Barratt 8 for 40)
Batting first, Optimists racked up 210 for 4 thanks to a fine century (129) from Ellison.
After tea, we were on track with our run-chase but Barratt produced a superb spell of bowling to take 8 for 40 and our 10-man side lost by 82 runs.
It wasn't the result we were looking for in our last match of the tour, but a great week was had by all of the Belhus tourists..
