Match report Andy Armit and John Lewis Snr picked up 2 wickets apiece as Grove scored 154 for 5 declared. Our run-chase was pretty poor as Dick Forrest top-scored with 18 and we were dismissed for just 74 to lose by 80 runs.

Not the best way to finish the last match of the 2nd XI's 1981 season. However, in addition to his hat trick against Little Thurrock on the 12th September, Richard Harvey enjoyed a fine season in capturing 68 wickets at 9.08 apiece and a match best analysis of 7 for 3 against Midland Bank on 16th May. Bravo.
