Match report Opener and skipper Norman Beaney struck a fine 89, and with support from the swashbuckling Brian Adams (47*) we racked up 198 for 5.

After tea, the Bank soon found themselves in trouble and wickets tumbled as they collapsed to 19 all out - the second lowest opposition total in the club's history (as at July 2015). 'Mr Extras' was their top-scorer with 12 and there were 7 'ducks' in the Bank's innings. Of the 16.1 overs bowled by us, 13 were maidens.

Our Richard Harvey returned the remarkable figures of 7 for 3 - and he had borrowed Andy Armit's boots because when he arrived at the ground (in Kent) he realised that he had left his own boots at home! An extraordinary day.
