Match report The fourth fixture of our first domestic senior tour (against Havant CC) was cancelled on the very morning (Thursday) of the match. In a flash of inspiration, Cliff Cansdale arranged for an announcement over the local radio with a appeal for a match against any opposition who could produce a team as a replacement. And to our amazement, HMS Mercury, the Royal Navy's shore-based Signals School, came to the rescue and a short game was duly arranged.
