Match report Batting first, Hutton came up against Paul Dowsett at his very best - from 18 overs he scooped 9 for 45, only the 7th instance of a '9for' in the club's history. After we had bowled 46 overs, tea was called and the Hutton skipper promptly declared, thus denying Paul of his '10for' (only ever achieved once before in the club's history).

Unfortunately, our attempt to chase down the runs fizzled out, and our 2nd XI settled for a draw with our score perched on 111 for 7 after 39.1 overs. However, a memorable day for Paul - with what was nearly . . .
