Belhus Cricket Club Saturday 2nd XI v Wanstead on Sat 24 May 1980 at 2.30pm
Match was Drawn
Match report
Wanstead batted first at Belhus Park and posted 143 after 38 overs as John Lewis Snr took 3 for 33.
After tea, George Dow (43) and David Webb (21) showed how to use a bat, but once they departed, we were unable to carry the innings forward and we settled for a draw. Certainly not the most exciting game of the season.
