Our 2nd XI posted another impressive total. This time it was 282 after Tony Lincoln (70) and David Cayless (51*) both struck half-centuries.
In their run-chase, only Jackson of the Shoeburyness batsmen was able to make any impression and we won comfortably by 179 runs. George Riley had captured 5 wickets for 56. Well played Belhus.
