Our 341 innings total was the club record team score (until the 399 for 5 by the 1st XI v Woodford Green in 2011). Shanti Popat stroked 119, ably supported by half-centuries from Steve Huckstepp and Tony Lincoln.
In dismissing the 10-man Downshall side for 47, our 2nd XI registered the 'record victory by runs margin' of 294 (this record was surpassed on 10th April 2021 when the 1st XI defeated Luton Caribbean CC by 301 runs). A crushing win in this Smallcombe Sports Division 2 League match.
