Match report This Thurrock and District Knock Out Cup match was played at Blackshots Playing Fields, Grays. After a 89 runs opening partnership, we did well to restrict Tilbury to 118 for 9 from the allotted 16 x 8 ball overs thanks to 4 for 12 by David Cayless and 3 run outs.

In reply, we paced our run-chase sensibly and with the scores level at stumps, we won by reason of having lost fewer wickets. Phew, a close match!
