Scorecard

Belhus Cricket Club Sunday 2nd XI v Grays and Tilbury Fire Service on Sun 24 May 1987 at 2.30pm
Belhus Cricket Club Lost by 1 Wicket

Match report Mick Phillips top-scored for us with 28 in our meagre total of 92.

And we nearly pulled of a great win as Mick Phillips also showed his skill with the ball by taking 6 for 51. We had them on the rack at 61 for 9 but C Comer, with 37 not out, and a 33-runs last wicket partnership with Twinn saw them home to a close victory by 1 wicket.

A good game but we let the Firemen off the hook.
