Match report In the Sunday 1st XI's last match of the season, Michael Phillips and Mark Winter took 3 and 2 wickets respectively as Rainham totalled 159 for 7 off of their allotted 3 overs.

In the run-chase, we decided to reverse our batting line-up. And it was paceman Robert Waters who top-scored for us with a fine 59 and we got close to the required total - but not quite close enough. Rainham's opening bowler Hussain bowled well to take a magnificent 8 for 73 and we lost by just 7 runs - a good game on which to finish the 1987 season.
