The start of the opening match of the club's second tour to Barbados was delayed due to rain and reduced to 20 overs per side.

On a soaking wet pitch, we did quite well to rack up a total of 86 thanks to a fine 52 from Mathew Lewis Snr who struck 2 sixes. In reply, St John's knocked off the runs quite easily and we lost by 6 wickets. Richard Wakely and Mark Winter collected 2 wickets apiece and we sat down to discuss our strategy for the matches ahead.
