EASTWOOD* v Belhus Cricket Club Midweek XI on Thu 09 Aug 2001 at 2pm
Belhus Cricket Club Lost by 1 Run

Match report Played at Belfairs Playing Fields in the Eastwood CC Cricket Week.

Batting first, Eastwood clocked up 170 in their allotted 35-overs. Paul Huckstepp took a club record (equalled by Michael Fogg on 16th April 2011 v Rayleigh CC) 5 stumpings (including his brother Steve!) and Jim Banner took his maiden hat trick.

In reply, and despite fine knocks from Jim Banner (38) and Mark Sansom (31), we came up short by just 1 run. Hard luck Belhus - an excellent and memorable match.
