A sensational win by the Belhus juniors off the very last of ball of the match in this twenty overs per side match at Belhus Park. Belhus had previously suffered a mini-migration of players to Horndon as the Belhus Park facilities were rapidly deteriorating. So at this match, Belhus faced their former trio of players Michael Canavon, Matthew Goodman and Kevin Pearce. Canavon set the tone of the match with a steady opening knock of 52.

But the Belhus opening partnership of Nick Marns and Matthew Vallis put on 105 for the first wicket, with Marns only being dismissed in the penultimate over of the match with 20 runs still required from the remaining ten deliveries.

Andrew Farrow came to the wicket and promptly hit Paget for a boundary and then two runs, which left 14 runs required from the final over with Marns on strike. Opening bowler Lill was re-introduced to the attack but from Horndon's point of view it was to no avail as Belhus scampered the winning runs.
