Match report In the 1st XI's first league match of the 1979 season, Robert Clarke bowled superbly for 23 overs and took 8 for 58. We had little difficulty in chasing down the runs but Bill Taylor (54 not out) and Denis Reed (37) steered us home to a 7 wickets win.
