Match report This was a 'nearly' win for our 2nd XI. Andy Thompson (36) John Lewis Jnr (26) and Tom Waters (24) were the only batsmen to reach double figures and take our score to exactly 100 at tea.

And it was John Lewis Jnr again who stepped on to the stage by taking 5 for 36 - but it wasn't quite good enough to prevent 4th Essex winning by 2 wickets. A good match though.
