Match report Not a great season for the 2nd XI under the captaincy of Dick Bignell from the point of view of actual results. However, Stan Matthews (Andrew Merton's brother-in-law who was in the RAF and played for us occasionally when he was home on leave) recorded the club's first century against Kennedy CC on 2nd September, and Graham Cunliffe captured the club's first hat trick against Cranham CC on 3rd June (neither finished on the winning side!).
