Match report Our 2nd XI were absolutely trounced in this Essex Senior Competition league match. Chasing the Fords' total of 253 was an impossible task and we didn't make it easy for ourselves when an early collapse saw us perched on 13 for 6. We were eventually bowled out for 54 - but we batted for 32 overs!

Our No. 11 batsman Brian Adams was our top-scorer with 15.
