Batting first, our 2nd XI posted a very respectable total of 172 for 6 thanks to Danny Evans (55), Ron Smalley (25) and Andy Thompson (27).

After tea, it was skipper Bob Garner who stole the show in bowling superbly to take 7 for 11 - including 4 wickets in 4 balls (only the second such instance in senior matches in the club's history) to dismiss Panalapina CC for just 26. 6 of the Panalpina batsmen were dismissed for 'ducks'.

Medium-pacer Bob's 4-in-4 followed his 4-in-4 only a few weeks earlier - on 8th May against Conway CC. Fantastic.
