A great performance by our 2nd XI skipper Bob Garner in taking 6 for 22 including a hat trick - more particularly, he took 4 wickets in 4 balls, a feat only ever performed by one other Belhus bowler in a senior match - by Bob himself just a few weeks later on 6th June against Panalpina CC. Fantastic.

After tea, and only having to chase down a modest total of 118 posted by the 10-man Conway side, our batsmen failed miserably as they were dismissed for a paltry 58 - and poor old Bob (who was the Not Out batsman at the close) finished on the losing side.
