Having withdrawn form the Essex Senior competition in 1975, we re-entered the League in 1977. This match was the 2nd XI's first match of the season as Bob Garner and Robert Waters (with 6 and 4 wickets respectively) bowled out Pegasus for just 59. And although we lost 5 wickets in the run-chase, it was a comfortable victory for us.
