Match report Under the captaincy of Bill Line, the 1975 season was not the 2nd XI's most successful from the playing point of view. But it had to be viewed in the context of dwindling membership numbers in 1974 and was therefore a year for rebuilding. There were some very low 2nd XI team scores but there was a magnificent tied match on 24th May against Lloyds Sports CC. The season did, though, finish on a high note, with an outstanding performance against Hartley Country Club on Sunday 27th September - see the separate scorecard. Overall, the season finished:
