Match report A fantastic way for our 2nd XI to finish what had been a pretty miserable season for them. Ron Smalley smashed 78, including 2 sixes, and he was backed up by Tom Waters (36 not out) and Danny Evans (25). Our total of 194 (the highest team total of the 2nd XI's season) proved beyond the reach of Hartley Country Club as our five bowlers took, uniquely, two wickets each - and we held on to 7 catches.

What a great performance - why hadn't they done it earlier in the season! For sure, a few celebratory pints were downed in 'The Archer' that night.
