North Stifford v Belhus Cricket Club Sunday 2nd XI on Sun 07 Sep 1975 at 2pm
Belhus Cricket Club Lost by 3 Wickets
Match report
Had it not been for our tail-enders Les Unsworth (21) and Bill Taylor (33) the 2nd XI would have been shot out very cheaply. Our total of 118 was nearly enough to clinch the match but North Stifford just crept over the line to win by 3 wickets thanks to one man - Webb - who made 71 not out.
Belhus players, John Lewis Snr and son John Lewis Jnr, guested for the opposition in this match that was played at North Stifford Village Green. And Ken Lewis played for us and took 3 wickets.
