SNARESBROOK* v Belhus Cricket Club Sunday 2nd XI on Sun 15 May 1994 at 2pm
Belhus Cricket Club Won by 2 Wickets
Match report
A tight low-scoring game reminiscent of those matches in the 60's and 70's. The Snaresbrook innings was dominated by the offspin of Cliff Cansdale, who took 9 wickets for the cost of 34 runs. The 10th wicket was a run out.
In the Belhus innings, Dave Stone showed how to bat, and with the scores level at 85 runs apiece, a boring single wasn't in his thoughts as he stroked the ball for a boundary four. Now that's the way to finish a game!
