Match report A much better performance by our 2nd XI after a run of defeats in the League.

Batting first, our 2ndXI posted a respectable total of 210 after opener J. Crockett had stroked 57 and Ron Smalley had produced a fine 41 (including 2 sixes), proved far too many for Benfleet as our paceman Bob Mead rounded off a very satisfying day with 6 for 36.
