Belhus Cricket Club Sunday 2nd XI v MILE END OLD BOYS* on Sun 01 Jul 1973 at 2.30pm
Belhus Cricket Club Lost by 94 Runs
Match report
The Mile End Old Boys' score of 197 was always going to be a tall order for our 2nd XI. And that proved to be the case, although Keith Davis was not only the sole Belhus batsman to reach double figures - he scored 82! Coming in at No. 5 with our score standing at just 2 for 3, he departed with the score on 97 having stroked seven 4s and six 6s.
His contribution of 82 accounted for almost 80% of our total. Sadly, Keith finished on the losing side but it was one of the most memorable innings in the club's history.
