Match report A great match. Defending just 82 after Benfleet's J. Brotherton had taken 6 for 26, our 1st XI had Benfleet well and truly on the rack at 51 for 7. But Austin and Goodwin put on a stubborn stand of 20 for the 8th wicket to enable Benfleet to crawl over the winning line for the loss of 9 wickets (Don Pegler took 5 for 38).
