This was our first win in 9 matches in Northern Ireland. Despite 3 run-outs, Vic Davies (38) and John Rowell (25) helped us to reach 125 all out in this 25-overs evening match at the attractive Armagh ground situated in the centre of the town.

After tea, Don Pegler took 5 for 45 but it was the run out (in fading light at around 9pm) of No. 10 batsman Parr that clinched the match for us.

A good quantity of Guinness was consumed that evening after a licence extension was quickly obtained for our extended late-night stay!
