Match report Basit Ali was a current Pakistani international who played 19 Tests and 50 ODI's between 1993 and 1996 before accusing other Pakistan players of match fixing which finished his career. Moin Khan was also a current Pakistani international who played 69 Tests and 219 ODI's between 1990 and 2004. He was a World Cup winner in 1992 and a runner up in 1999. Faisal Younis was the brother of Pakistan international Waqar who was watching the game from the boundary after the League refused permission for him to play whilst recovering from injury.

This game was to be Vic Davies' last game for the club after claiming the 2 wickets of the internationals (but Vic guested again in 2014!). He was heard to say afterwards, "That will do for me. I'm done. Give my gear to the kids." At which point Jacko, alias Robert Waters, nicked his SS Jumbo bat.

Belhus ended up losing the match, YI's scoring 238 all out in 44.5 overs, with the afore-mentioned Moin Khan making 72 before falling to Davies, Steve Liddiard taking 4 for 50, Davies 2 for 56.

In reply, Belhus were never really in the game and after the injury to John Forrest who retired hurt and fell well short of the target with 130 for 9. M.Lewis 24, W.Read 24 and B.Edwards 38 only really making any inroads on the total.
