Belhus Cricket Club Sunday 2nd XI v CORRINGHAM SOCIAL CLUB* on Sun 03 Jul 1966 at 2.30pm
Belhus Cricket Club Lost by 45 Runs
Match report
Corringham Social Club 65
Belhus 2nd XI 20
Our 2nd XI must have felt quite pleased with themselves after bowling out Corringham Social Club for 65, with pacemen Andrew Walker and Bob Young taking 6 for 29 and 4 for 23 respectively.
After an early tea, Belhus got off to a disastrous start in losing 6 wickets for just 2 runs - to be finally dismissed for 20 in 11.5 overs - thanks only to Gerry Thompson stroking 14 not out. Corringham's Brian Fayers took 6 for 10.
There were 7 'ducks' in the Belhus innings - phew!
