Batting first, our 1st XI posted a respectable total of 137-9 declared at tea with left-hander Keith Clayton stroking a fine half-century (53).

After tea Don Pegler and Vic Davies took 6 and 3 wickets respectively and we shot out South Ilford for 100 to achieve a fine victory. Well played Belhus.
