Our 1st XI batted first and David Allen (36) and John Rowell (26 not out) pulled us around from 45 for 6 to enable us post a modest total of 112 for 7 after 36 overs.

After tea, paceman Peter Ferns took 5 for 22 but we couldn't quite winkle out the Rontays tail-enders so we had to accept a Draw with the last two Rontays batsmen at the crease.
