Belhus Cricket Club Sunday 1st XI v STANTON* on Sun 21 Jun 1964 at 11.30am
Belhus Cricket Club Lost by 127 Runs
Match report
This fixture was a traditional all-day match at Belhus Park. Pat Pooler-Williams bowled 25 overs but we could only capture 4 Stanton wickets. And PW was the only Belhus batsman to reach double figures as we suffered a 'Belhus Collapse' when we were 20 for 1 - we lost 9 wickets for 9 runs. Oh dear oh dear.
But we batted for 36 overs (including 23 maidens) before we were dismissed for 29! Peters took 5 for 1 from 9 overs which included 8 maidens.
