Heasman for Great Nelmes carried his bat through the innings for 28 not out. Pat Pooler-Williams took 6 for 37 and 3 of his victims were adjudged lbw - unusual for the day without neutral umpires. However, when Belhus batted, Pooler-Williams too was given out lbw !

Chasing a modest total of just 59, our lst XI lost 5 wickets for 16 but recovered thanks to Mick Patrick (25*) and Don Pegler (12*) who steered us home to a 4 wickets victory.
