Belhus batted first and were in trouble at 28 for 4 when Stan Matthews went in to bat. He then batted beautifully to stroke an undefeated 107 (17 fours and 1 six) to score the club's first ever century. Well done Stan (the brother-in-law of Andrew Merton).

When Kennedy batted, Stan took 2 wickets but we couldn't quite winkle out Kennedy and had to settle for a draw.
