A 3 o'clock start. Batting first, we had 3 lbws in our modest innings total of exactly 100 on the small Great Burstead ground. Mick Patrick top-scored with 22 and John Lewis Snr, on his Club debut, stroked a boundary 6.

Unfortunately it rained at teatime before our innings commenced and play was abandoned.
