In the 2nd XI's first-ever match the previous week, 5 of our batsmen were dismissed for 'ducks'. And the very same thing happened again in their second match!

Batting first, not one of our batsmen reached double figures as we were bowled out for just 24. This was simply not enough to defend and we lost by 7 wickets.
