Walworth v Belhus Cricket Club Sunday 1st XI on Sun 04 Sep 1960 at 2pm
Belhus Cricket Club Won by 2 Wickets
Match report
Walworth 106 (Pat Pooler-Williams 5 for 31)
Belhus 1st XI 107-8
Fielding first, we must have been happy to dismiss Walworth for 106 in 42.3 overs with Pat Pooler-Williams and Les Perry capturing 5 and 4 wickets respectively.
But we made hard work of the run-chase. Ken Merton made 43 and our other batsmen chipped in with a few runs here and there as our 10-man team just crept home to win by 2 wickets. It was tight though.
