Batting first, openers Pat Pooler-Williams (36) and Jim Rounce (41) took our score to 121 at tea although we had 6 wickets in hand which seems a a bit of a waste.

But it proved to be more than enough runs as Chadwell St Mary simply couldn't handle the swing bowling of Don Pegler who returned 6 for 18. We won easily by 73 runs.
